Biocel a.s.’s (Paskov, Czech Republic) 49.9% stake in Jihoceské Papírny Vétrni was divested to CSOB (Prague, Czech Republic) as a closing condition to the Biocel / Zellstoff Pöls (Heinzel, Austria) transaction. The group JIP operates a plant in Vétrni, which manufactures printing and wrapping paper. The plant had a profit of CZK 22 million on revenues of nearly CZK 2.5 billion in 2000.
