Stora Enso closed down Papyrus GB Limited, its loss making merchant division within Great Britain, during the second quarter of 2002. Papyrus GB distributed 100,000 tonnes of fine paper and board during 2001. As part of the planned closure, a part of the business was divested to another merchanting group.
