M-real has sold Petöfi carton plant, located in Kecskemét, Hungary, to the German STI Group.
The Petöfi
plant produces consumer packaging products for the
pharmaceutical, consumer electronics and other industries. It is Central Europe's largest folding carton plant by capacity and has some 420 employees. The divestiture is part of M-real's asset base review announced in October 2006.
